I know that the music industry has been turned upside down with the rise of the internet and reduces the need for a contract with a big time label. I would like to release some material for download…what are the most popular sites to post music for unsigned artists? What are the steps?

Often, we like to use artist music (the kind you would find on iTunes). Are there any limitations when using music for event videos for a high school DVD?
Yes, technically there are…I am not sure but I think it’s in the realm of 20-30 seconds. I would look it up in the laws of your country to be sure. Usually I would say screw it…but I definitely see your dilemma with the DVD Yearbook because it has to be produced by an outside company (I am assuming).
Originally supposed to go on my other channel, but after having over an hour of clps to edit down I was able to get it to 12 minutes. Still too long for the other channel, so I’m going to answer even more questions in another video (pt. 2) later on!
