How do music artist pick which city to perform in?? Do they pick at random???
i guess they choose on the arena size, so like if chicago has an arena that can hold more than 50,000 people that artist might consider playing there

I want to start listening to trance music but I don’s know of any really good artists or albums to get. I’ve listened to some Infected Mushroom on youtube but I think their album art is disturbing. Also, I like instrumental music more than lyrical. Can you recommend some good artists and/or albums to get me started? Thanks.

Elvis was a great singer but he stole a lot of he’s music from black artist and he never wrote any of he’s songs.Michael Jackson was great singer and he wrote most of all he’s songs.

I see people make homage videos to artist on youtube. But when I tryed it told me i was copyright infringing. How do people post those videos? What makes them legal? How do they download old videos etc? I’m trying to post a video but can’t find any legal music?
There could be several reasons why the other videos are not taken down.
#1. The copyright holder has not found out that they infringed on their copyrights.
#2. The material is being used under the fair use.
#3. The music is not copyrighted (not all music is copyrighted).

Can a music artist perform in all genres of music such as rap, rock, pop, techno, and country?
It depends on their knowledge base. If they know enough about music, they will be able to play in a way appropriate for each style. It depends on their level of creativity and open mindedness, also how good an ear they have for the nuances of each style. For rap and techno it would help if they had computer and synth or beat making skills.
We all use the same 12-tones. It’s just a matter of what you do with them.
I teach guitar for a living, all styles from classical to metal. My personal tastes are more limited, but my songs all have elements of at least 3 different styles in each one. I personally don’t get all this "genre" crap. It’s too much like high school with all its rules. No you can’t do this, or use that idea in your songs. I thought artist were supposed to be free to think and do what they wanted.
