3. IceManBgd Says:

Wir sind das …
Wir sind das deutsche Afrikakorps
Des Führers verwegene Truppe
Wir stürmen wie die Teufel hervor
Versalzen dem Tommy die Suppe
Wir fürchten nicht Hitze und Wüstensand
Wir trotzen dem Durst und dem Sonnenbrand
Marschieren beim Takt unserer Trommel
Vorwärts, vorwärts
:Vorwärts mit unserem Rommel!:

4. IceManBgd Says:

@cemoyka
Then why are there mosque minarets? Are you suggesting they’re colonisers in Libya? It’s possible. But what I say is true, I’ve seen many 1940s clips on Arabs.

@KoSoVaAnGeL agree, …
@KoSoVaAnGeL agree, Rommel was brilliant general and commander but in the eastern front was a different situation, the fighting was on a larger scale than in western front. Hitler was not a strategist, he was a politician and a stubborn propagator that didnt listen to his generals, Paulus was the biggest example of it.
On the other hand Erich von Manstein,Guderian, and Georgy Zhukov were the most briliant commanders on the eastern front.

13. KoSoVaAnGeL Says:

Erwin Johannes …
Erwin Johannes Eugen Rommel was one of the best Generalfeldmarschall that Hitler had. He did not listen to hitler like Generalfeldmarschall Friedrich Paulus who destroyed all his army in trying everything to keep Stalingrad. Rommel saw how strong allies were and did not put his army in a hopeless fight.

I am sure his soldiers loved Rommel like their own father.

I have respect for this Gentleman.

God bless him.

17. juustolihapiirakka Says:

Alex they did do …
Alex they did do something similair, they gathered everything that could stirr up the desert and made them look like armored veichles and tanks. The allieds then tought he had atleast 3 times more tanks and hesitated to attack. One of the tricks that earned him the immortal title “desert fox“

18. Kardinale3000 Says:

HEIL ROMMEL!
HEIL ROMMEL!

19. stefanblbl Says:

I read also heard …
I read also heard today in documentary that they had in front of their cars big turbines that were basicly blowing up in the air large amount of sands so the enemies have the feeling the huge armored divisions are rushing. Ofc after that Brits retreated 100km back to Tobruk fortification.

20. myez Says:

I always like to …
I always like to think of Rommel as a knight. He was brave, inspired loyalty, was respected by the enemy and practiced chivalry.

I believe I read somewhere that when Rommel and the Afrika korps originally landed in Tripoli, they paraded their tanks around in circles to give the appearance of a stronger force than what they had…. I can’t remember where I read that at though…
