How do I download music from Itunes without deleting old music?

I got a new computer with new music that I want to add to my Ipod. My sister tried it, and the new music replaced the old music and now they are gone. Is there a way that I can download my new music without deleting what I already have I my Ipod (which is not in my itunes) ?

The reason it did this is because if it let you, people could share music without buying their own copy. This won’t work. However, you can share iTunes libraries between computers using home sharing. To enable home sharing, click the advanced tab, then click ‘Turn On Home Sharing’. It will ask you to login. Do this on both computers, then you can view each computer’s libraries of music on the other. Now I don’t have access to it right now, but I believe that there is a button on the bottom that allows you to download everything in the other computer’s library. It you can’t find it/its just not there, then you can select all the song’s you want to copy over and right click, and download them that way.

Be aware that you can only share this music with 5 computers, also a sharing restraint. So you can’t dow this for more than 5 computers.

Once the music is copied over, just sync your iPod to your computer and tell it (if it’s not already set to download all music) to sync the new music (click on the iPod tab on the left side, then go to the music tab). Hope this helps.

I’ve learned a whole lot about early-mid 20th century music in my spare time and I even know a little about classical music, but I haven’t the slightest idea about what happened to music in the 19th century that bridged the gap between classical and the foundations of modern music. Can anyone help explain?

Lol. That SO sounds like a Music Theory homework question… The answer is Ragtime (edit: Ragtime was a combination of the West Indian rhythm and European musical form).

Anyway, the why is also pretty cool. There was a BIG change in the world of music… Albert Einstein and the the advent of sound recording! The 19th century (the 1800’s) was a period of live performance. The world was much, much smaller. If you wanted to hear music, you learned to play and instrument, or you went to see someone perform.

The 1800’s was the day of Beethoven, Schubert, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Wagner, Verdi and more. Then, in 1877 Thomas Edison invents sound recording – the phonograph was born, and the world wasn’t so small anymore. The phonograph did for music what the Internet did for us today.

Shortly thereafter the Boston Symphony Orchestra was established, followed by the Metropolitan Opera House, and Carnegie Hall. It was a brand new world for music. Ragtime was born in 1896 if I remember correctly.

In the early 1900’s the London Symphony Orchestra was established and music really changed. I remember studying one of the trademark changes in classical music, Arnold Schoenberg’s Book of Hanging Gardens, and the trend just continued from there.

But just in influencial was the times itself. The mid 1800’s was the Victorian Era and was marked by Gothic literature and it was the age of industry. The world was changing rapidly.

For my theatre assignment I had to pick a play, read it, and then find music which I could put into the play. The music has to fit the play and go with the mood. The music can modern music or it can be music from the time period of the play. The play I chose was the importance of being earnest. I read the play but I am having trouble finding music which would go with the mood/plot of the play. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

I own an 8GB 2nd generation iPod Touch and so far, it has been a reliable music player. However, I want to get myself a new portable music player and I was wondering what you would recommend. I am open to all suggestions however, I want a portable music player that is able to play FLAC (or any other lossless format) music files and that has the capacity to hold A LOT of music.

How do I make a professional rap music video?

I make a lot of songs, but I usually post still pictures on the videos and upload them. I’d like to try creating an actual video, something along the lines of what you would see on an mtv music video. Where do I go about doing this? I’d need props, or a location, and a camera (I’ve been using my phone camera). I’d like to make this professional and spread my music, so if you offer any tips and have experience in doing such things, that would be great. Thanks.

Of course you can do it without spending loads of money. Here is what you do. First you get yourself a video camera. (HD video camera if it is in your budget) Next you perform the song in front of the camera in 3 – 5 different locations. Make sure the footage is good. (Clear vision of the person rapping no matter how close you gotta get to him) Next you upload the video into the computer, and use an editing program like Windows Movie Maker and line up the actual song in mp3 with each video shot in different scenes. Send them each out seperately and now you have all your seperate scenes to cut and get creative with in how you put them together. E.G. How do I add all three? I would like the audio to be louder than the music, and no sound from the video. I know how to get the music and video, but can I add audio too or only music and video clips?

If you have Movie Maker for XP or Vista, you set your work area to Timeline View using the Storyboard/Timeline options in the upper left corner of the work area (the area where the videos are edited). Import your video into Movie Maker and drag it to the Timeline. Import your Music into Movie Maker and drag it to the Track (the row) labelled "Music/Audio". On the left side of the Timeline is a little "Video" with a + next to it. Click on the + sign …and you’ll see the video and the audio track. Right click in the audio track and click on "Mute". Now, you won’t hear the video’s audio track.

If by "audio" you mean "narration", click on Tools in the main menu at the top, scroll down and click on "Narrate Timeline". A window will appear which has start and stop buttons and a volume control.

If you have Windows Live Movie Maker, you won’t be able to add narration to the video. You’d have to use a program like Audacity to combine your music with a narration. This means you’d have to have Audacity open while watching your video play. When finished, you File>Export this to a WAV file, import into Movie Maker and add to your video.

You might not like the style(hard rock with one screamed line at the end of the chorus), but "Death of Me" by Red is awesome. So is "Feed The Machine", but it’s really heavy. They have awesome, story-telling, symbolic videos. "Already Over", "Breathe Into Me", "Ordinary World", all those have great videos.

But the video for "Death of Me" is probably the most symbolic.

I don’t remember the song, or even the band. I just really need to find that music video, and the song. If I remember correctly, the music video started with screens of terrible crises, but ends with some sort of positive statistics.

PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT THE NAME OF THIS MUSIC VIDEO!

This video features the lead singer of the band driving the car, he gets run off the road by hitting a deer. The video is in slow motion where the car is tumbling out of control and his past memories are being shown simultaneously. Occasionally, the rest of the band is in playing the music in the back seat.

At the end of the video, he is in the hospital bed accompanied by his father.

Sound a lot like Manchester Orchestra’s video for the song Simple Math. They are an amazing band! Also, it is a incredible video!
